Lin Eleoff’s career in television began when she was on her way to an audition at a radio station, got lost, and found herself at the local TV station in Barrie, Ontario.  She auditioned for the weekend weather girl job and… well… she totally sucked at it. But a kind-hearted news director gave Lin a second chance and that’s when she nailed it.  She also got the radio job and for one year Lin worked seven days a week in radio and television before getting a full time TV news job.

Lin worked her way up to nightly news anchor in Toronto where she won various CanPro and New York Film and Television awards for news reporting and anchoring.

Lin is also an attorney and a smart ass.

But her true passion is in her work coaching smart + strong women who don’t believe in their innate power… until they meet Lin!

Lin’s smart ass-ness is evident in her popular blog The WORST Mother. Not one to shy away from the less flattering parts of herself, Lin stole her motto from Marilyn, then changed the words around to make it sounds like hers:

If you can’t love me at my worst, then you bloody well don’t deserve me at my best.  So get lost.

Lin is a columnist for her local newspaper where her personal stories have struck a chord with many readers for their candor, wit, and so-called ‘AFGO’moments.

Lin has worked and trained with O Magazine’s resident  life coach, Martha Beck, and bad-ass coach to the coaches, Brooke Castillo.
