A Coach Without A Niche Is Like A Hotdog Without A Bun.

why you need a niche if you're a coachOr worse… a hot dog in the wrong bun!

Oh how I wish I were kidding.

Even if you don’t like hot dogs (or buns), surely you can see how dire this is, right?

So, I have to ask you…

Have you nailed your niche yet?

I mean, is it so crystal clear in your mind that if someone asks you what you “do” as a coach you can rattle off, in 3 succinct and simple sentences, exactly what you do, how you do it, and who you do it for in such a way that it makes people say…

Ohhhhhhhh, tell me more.

Or…

Are you in my head?

Because if that’s not the response you’re getting, your niche is still too, shall we say… nebulous, and niche nebulosity (word!) results in:

  • Fewew website visits;
  • Even fewer optins/sign ups;
  • Hardly any clients;
  • No money coming in!

Here’s the saddest part, and this is true: Most coach businesses fail because coaches are either in the wrong niche or, worse, they don’t have a niche at all. (Which explains the hot dog/bun metaphor, right?)

This is a foundational piece of building a coaching business; do this first and it will save you so many headaches (and tantrums) later.

It happened to me, and it’s happened to just about every coach I know. I think it’s a rite of passage. Still, I make it a priority for my coach clients to nail this, first.
